Shaan continues to criticise PTV's decision to air 'Ertugrul Ghazi'

Pakistani film star Shaan Shahid continues to criticise the Pakistan Television's decision to air Turkish TV series "Dirilis: Ertugrul".

Shaan has also faced backlash for raising his voice against the PTV's decision.

Pakistani fans of the Turkish series have criticized the actor for opposing a series which has set new records of viewership on YouTube.

In a Twitter discussion, Shaan clarified that he was not opposed to Ertugrul but against the PTV's decision to air the series.

In his latest tweet, he said: "PTV charged 7 billion a year to show us a product that's already available on Netflix."

"Dirilis: Ertugrul"is being aired on state-run PTV on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan since 1st Ramadan.
