RIYADH: Saudi officials have assured action against the African nationals who attacked Pakistani workers and injured 39 of them in Riyadh, Geo News reported.
According to details, Pakistani labourers were working at an under construction university when they were attacked by Somalia and Ethiopian nationals. The attack left 39 Pakistanis wounded who were shifted to different hospitals in Riyadh.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia informed that security officials contacted construction company and Saudi police and that the situation was brought under control after the officials intervened.
There were no reports of arrest of any of the accused involved in the attack.
