Consensus in taking action against Al-Qaeda: DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Military spokesman, Major General Athar Abbas said there was unanimity in taking action against Al-Qaeda and their supporters, Geo News reported Wednesday.

He added that in the past, successful operation against terrorists had been conducted with the help of the CIA.

According to the military spokesman, the army was following Al-Qaeda operative Younis al-Mauritani since last October and he was captured with the support of the CIA this week.
