PTI MNA Alamgir Khan, has put up a cut out of Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah at Karachi's Gujjar Nala, to urge the provincial government to act and ensure cleaning of drains before monsoon rains hit the city with full force.

The FixIt campaigner shared a video online on Sunday to lodge his protest against the city's blocked drainage system at a time when the danger of urban flooding looms large. The meteorological department has forecast heavy rainfall and urban flooding for Karachi beginning Sunday night.

"No cleaning has been done on Gujjar Nala [by the provincial government] yet. More than 30 drains of the city are not functional for proper drainage of stormwater," the PTI leader complained.
