APML attends PTI’s Eid reception in Dallas

DALLAS: Officials from Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) Dallas and All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) met in Dallas. The coordinator of APML, along with other officials of his party attended PTI's Eid Milan Party.

According to details, PTI Dallas held an Eid reception (Eid Milan) at a local hotel in Dallas for which the group’s President of PTI had formally extended invitation to Former President Pervez Musharraf’s party.

The APML Dallas coordinator after accepting the invitation joined the Eid Milan Party along with other officials and workers of his group.

PTI's USA General Secretary, and some PTI workers attended the gathering.

According to sources, APML coordinator Dallas had thrown a reception to PTI’s Dallas President at his house. Both the parties exchanged pledges and assurances in that meeting to support each other in Dallas Fort Worth Area and to remove any hindrance in mutual relationships.

When former coordinator of PTI Dr Nasrullah Khan was contacted he said that this is not PTI's party policy to promote links with APML.

It is pertinent to mention here that PTI had a big protest on Musharraf's arrival in Dallas five month ago, which even forced Musharraf to reschedule his speech.

The sudden change of hearts and newly found love between two the parties has left lot of people in great surprise, according to these people "first we were forced to protest against Pervez Musharraf in Dallas and now the party local leadership is participating in each other's receptions without giving a reason".

However, some others welcomed this effort of friendship and suggested other parties to do the same. However, others are in big confusion that if it is a policy of these parties or these local leaders are meeting in their personal capacity.
