Flood affectees to get compensation in two installments

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has said that second installment of Rs.40, 000 for flood affectees will be provided in two separate installments and process of cheques distribution will commence soon.

He was talking to MPAs during his weekly meetings at his office on Thursday. The MPAs apprised him of development schemes in their respective constituencies and problems confronting the people.

The chief minister said that his government is fully aware of problems and difficulties confronting flood affectees and is taking keen interest in provision of relief to them. He hoped that the payment process of compensation cheques will commence this month and stress the MPAs to play their roll in making the process transparent and judicious so that no any deserving remained unattended from assistance.

Those met the chief minister included MPAs from different political parties including ANP and PPP.Earlier, ANP Senior Leader Afzal Khan Lala called on the chief minister at Officer Mess. Provincial Minister for Information Mian Iftikhar Hussein was also present on the occasion.
