Rain devastation continues, 24 perish

BADIN: Rain devastation continued in parts of Sindh as 24 more people lost their lives in various incidents.

In view of the rising level at the Left Bank Outfall Drain (LBOD), the flood water has entered many of the villages on either side, damaging crops on hundreds of acres of land.

As a precautionary measure, the administration has started shifting people to safer places from the nearby 10 union councils meanwhile relief operation from by the Army and Navy personnel is also underway.

The marooned people in Goth Amir Bux Kaloi are being evacuated by helicopter, it was further pointed out.
