LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday issued transfer and posting orders of eight district and sessions judges (D&SJs) and fourteen civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates.
According to a notification issued by the LHC Registrar Sohail Nasir, the D&SJs who were transferred include Malik Muhammad Akram Awan (Judge Anti-terrorist Court-1) from Rawalpnadi to Mianwali, Warniq Javed from Mianwali to Lahore, Raja Akhaq Hussain from Muzzafargarh to Faisalabad, Ishtiaq Ahmed from Faisalabad to Lahore, khalid Naveed Dar (AD&SJ) from Ferozewala to Muzzafargarh (on Promotion as D&SJ), Sana Ullah Khan Niazi from Layyah to Khushab, Muhammad Illyas from Khushab to Layyah, Jawad ul Hassan (AD&SJ) from Kasur to M.B. Din (on promotion as D&SJ).
The civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates who were transferred include Ms Asha Tariq from Gujranwala to Pindi Bhattian, Ghulam Farid Qureshi from Rawalpindi to Bhowana, Waqar Mansoor from Bhowana to Rawalpindi, Malik Azmat Ullah Awan from Pindi Bhattian to Gujrat, Munir Gill from Khanewal to Mianwali, Fazi ul Hasan from Gujrat to Gujranwala, Rana Muhammad from Chiniot to Minchinabad, Mukhtar Ahmed from Kharian to Hassan Abdal, Muhammad Afzal Bhatti from Bhakar to Liaquatpur, Muhammad Jahangir Ashraf from Liaquatpur to
Bhakkar, Shoaib Anwar Qureshi from Gujranwala to Khanpur, and
Shoakat Javed Khan from Minchinabad to Chuniot. (APP)
