Police-militants shootout in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: A shootout is in full swing between police and militants in the Mattani area of Peshawar, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to initial reports it all started after militants attacked police to which the latter retaliated. There were no immediate reports of any casualties or arrests.

On Tuesday, militants attacked a school van in which five including four children were killed while several others were injured.
