Four SNGPL officials suspended

LAHORE: General Manager, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) Abdul Haseeb on Wednesday suspended four officials of Harbancepura Sui Gas office for their poor performance.

On the public complaints, the GM accompanied by Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Naveed Ashraf paid a surprise visit to the Harbancepura Sui Gas office and expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of Billing In-charge Waheed Rasheed, Admn In-charge Tanvir Gill, Sales In-charge Shahid Basharat and Record Keeper Salman Bashir and suspended them.

He warned that incompetent officials would never be tolerated at all as they were duty bound to facilitate the consumers by extending co-operation and demonstrating good behaviour besides promoting company culture.

The GM said that he would pay surprise visits to all offices fall under his jurisdiction at least once in a month to address the grievances of consumers and check the performance of officials. (APP)
