JSQM chief Bashir Qureshi held in Karachi

KARACHI: Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) Chairman Bashir Khan Qureshi along with his four accomplices has been arrested from Gulshan-e-Hadeed area by the Rangers and shifted to an unknown place, Geo News reported Thursday.

His arrest sparked protests across several parts of Sindh and aerial firing sent a wave of fear amongst residents while businesses and shopkeepers were forced to pull shutters.

Meanwhile the vice chairman of JSQM Dr. Niaz Kalani warned of giving a strike call across the province if Bashir Qureshi was not released along with his members in within the next three hours.
