Rally to protest acid throwing incident

QUETTA: Pashtoonkhwa Students Organisation (PSO) took out a rally to protest acid throwing on women and non arrest of terrorists involve din the incident so far here Friday.

It started form Science college and reached in front of Press Club after assigning through different roads where it turned into a protest meeting. Leaders and workers of Pashtoonkhwa Students organization and students of Universities and colleges attended in large numbers.

They carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans against terrorism, extremism, religious zealous, arrest of terrorists involve din acid throwing incident and their arrest. Government murdabad and terrorism undergoing in support of dictatorial forces and secret agencies should be eliminated. United Nations and international organizations should take notice on attacks on teachers, students and girls and educational institutions and take effective steps.

Addressing the meeting Ahmad Jan first secretary-1 PSO, Kabir Afghan and Malik Achakzai strongly condemned acid throwing on women and termed this as attack on humanity, education and vision.

Strongly lashing out at Government and responsible of law and order for not arresting terrorists demanded for their immediate arrest.

Speakers said that imperialistic and dictatorial forces and secret agencies laid basis of terrorism, extremism, religious fanatics, sectarianism and developed it during the past four decades for completion of their imperialistic, dictatorial and expansionism designs. They setup camps in Pashtoon areas and declared extremism, terrorism and religious zealous as state policy depriving suppressed nations and people of their national parity and rights and powers within the country and externally interference was made in the name of Islam in Afghanistan and other countries in the neighbor.

It created serious dangers for security of the country and region, peace and progress and education. Now Pakistan has been described as patronising state of terrorists and extremists in the world.

They said terrorists involved in throwing acid on women, rocket attack on students van in Peshawar and suicide attack on funeral procession in Lower Dir and blowing schools are not hidden to government because secret agencies were imparting their training, spread of extremisms and religious fanatics and responsible for the r network. It is very dangerous policy.

They said that throwing acid on women and non arrest of terrorists shows government and institutions responsible for law and order are totally failed to provide security to the people and students, teachers and elimination of terrorists.

They demanded that injured women should be treat best within or outiside the country and bear all their expense.
