PESHAWAR: Six people were killed and 33 others were wounded in an explosion occurred here at CD market in Nishtarabad area on Monday, Geo News reported.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister Bashir Bilour confirmed the death toll and added that police had informed him that the bomb was probably planted in a motorcycle.
Peshawar police chief Imtiaz Altaf told reporters at the scene of the blast that "the target was the CD market."
Earlier Monday, a Taliban suicide car bomber flattened the house of SSP CID in Defence area of Karachi, killing eight people including six policemen.
