Karachi blast: JIT meeting today

KARACHI: SSP CID Chaudhary Aslam's gunman said that attackers inside white Suzuki pick up detonated the bomb; meanwhile, the meeting of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) would meet here today (Tuesday) with the DIG South Shaukat Shah in the chair in Durakhshan police station.

According to the police sources, the injured gunman of Aslam, Qayum in his statement said that the Suzuki pick up was used in the explosion. He said that initially he thought that the car got out of control due to breaks failure.

On Monday, a suicide bomber detonated a vehicle packed with explosives outside the residence of SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam, killing eight people.
