Explosion in CD shop injures 10

PESHAWAR: At least ten persons sustained wounds in a powerful explosion inside a CD shop at Nishtarabad area in the city here on late Monday night, police said.

Several CD and Video shops caught fire due to high intensity of the explosion that rocked the city. The Rescue 1122 and Police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) for treatment where emergency was enforced.

The bang of explosion was heard in five-kilometer radius that created terror among the residents of Peshawar.

Few cars parked in Nishtarabad CD market was also destroyed after it caught fire. (APP)
