Gen Kayani travels to flood-hit areas

COAS visits flood affected areas

SANGHAR: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited the flood affected areas in Sindh and said the army was ready to help the people in their time of need, Geo News reported.

COAS visited the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) College in Sanghar were a relief camp for flood affectees has been set up by the army. General Kayani met with flood affectees and expressed grief over the losses they had incurred.

COAS was briefed on the situation following the rains in Sindh and he said that a report was being complied about the damage caused which would be presented to the government.
