PESHAWAR: Police on Monday arrested the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Secretary Mukhtiar Ahmad for running over a six-year-old.
The KP IT secretary's car hit the six-year-old boy in the jurisdiction of Thana Town, Peshawar, confirmed police.
Police revealed that Ahmad was driving the car himself and was arrested after police registered a case against him.
Later, the magistrate accepted the government official's bail plea.
