Sindh: anti-Polio drive from today, LHWA boycotts

KARACHI: Anti-polio drive would begin in 22 districts of Sindh from today, however sources said that Ladies Health Workers Association (LHWA) has boycotted the drive due to the none payment of their salaries for three months.

According to project director Mazhar Khamisani, the anti-polio drive was delayed due to the rains and floods in Sindh.

In Karachi, anti-polio drive took place from September 16 to September 19.

Meanwhile, LHWA boycotted the anti-poli drive due to nonpayment of their salaries for three months.
