Section 144 imposed in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh government has imposed Section 144 in the city that will prevent political parties from arranging processions and demonstrations, Geo News reported Wednesday.

Sindh Interior Ministry issued a notification about reinforcing Section 144 for one-month/30 days in the metropolis.

Under Section 144, gathering of more than five people would be banned, however, religious meetings and funerals will be an exception.
