LAHORE: Four more people died of the Dengue fever including PML-N MPA Mumtaz Ahmed Jajja, Geo News reported.
Jajja was being treated for Dengue at the Jinnah Hospital and was admitted in the ICU three days ago. According to Jinnah Hospital Chief Executive Dr. Akram, all efforts were made to save Jajja.
Three women also died of Dengue in Lahore on Thursday, as the death toll from the virus rose to 110 in the city. In Punjab 11,584 cases of Dengue have been reported out of which 10,244 are in Lahore.
According to Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif an improved strategy is being formulated for the prevention and treatment of the disease.
