Maulana Fazl calls on President Zardari

ISLAMABAD: Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Ameer of Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Monday.

Both the leaders discussed unanimous resolution passed by the All Parties Conference (APC) besides challenges, current political situation of the country.

During the meeting, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman stressed on implementation of the resolution unanimously adopted by the APC. He said now the US demand of 'do more' must not be acceded to.

President Zardari on the occasion congratulated the JUI Chief on the unanimity of all the political and religious parties at the APC.

Later, the President also hosted a lunch for Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
