ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that the coalition with Pakistan People's Party (PPP) would remain intact, Geo News reported.

The leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Q met with President Zardari to convey the reservations of PML-Q lawmakers. Shujaat also said that the party would contest the next elections in alliance with the PPP.

Presedint Zardari assured Chaudhry Shujaat and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi to address their reservations.

On Tuesday Federal Ministers from the PML-Q had tendered their resignations to the party leadership. The ministers said they had resigned because of the government's failures and irresponsibility towards national issues.
