DCO takes notice of chopping down of trees

KARACHI: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Karachi Roshan Ali Sheikh has taken strict notice of chopping down of trees on a main thoroughfare at Awami Markaz and ordered prompt inquiry into the matter.

During a visit to Shahrah-e-Faisal on Wednesday, he took notice of cutting down of more than 25 trees and sought report in this regard. He also ordered legal action against elements involved in the practice.

While inspecting the road, he also ordered plantation on both side of the road in order to beautify it. (PPI)
