Muzzammal Sultan elected FCCI president

FAISALABAD: Muzammal Sultan and Rehan Naseem Bharara were elected as President and Vice President of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) unopposed for year 2011-12.

The announcement was made the FCCI election commission comprising Sheikh Mukhtar Ahmad, Rana Mushtaq Ahmad and Waseem Lateef in a statement issued here on Thursday.

The official announcement of this election will be made in the annual general meeting of FCCI which is scheduled to be held here on October 12.

The FCCI election commission claimed that entire election process was completed under a free, fair and transparent manner and hoped that chamber's new cabinet would play its role in addressing problems of the business community.

The newly elected FCCI chief thanked the business community who reposed confidence in him and said that he would strive hard to resolve their problems.
