RPO holds meeting to review law and order situation

RAWALPINDI: Regional Police Officer Captain (Retd) Muhammad Zubair chaired a meeting here on Thursday to review prevailing law and order situation.

He said strict action would be taken against police officials who are found in misbehaving with the people and directed them to adopt polite behavior with the complainant at the police stations.

He said that police officials found involved in corruption would not be tolerated at any cost.

Zubair said that SPs should conduct a surprise visit of the police stations once in a week.

He stressed the need that a comprehensive strategy should be evolved for effective patrolling after ascertaining the areas where street crimes are on the rise.
