Journalist found dead in house

LAHORE: A young journalist working for a foreign newspaper was found dead in his house at Wafaqi Colony, Johar Town here on Friday.

Police said that Faisal Qureshi, 28, who was working for London Post as web-editor, lived alone. Some unknown outlaws entered his house and killed him with a sharp edged instrument, the police added.

Shahid Ahmad Qureshi, brother of the deceased, told the police that he was trying to contact Faisal for the last two days but did not get any response. On which he informed the police which found the body of Faisal Qureshi in a pool of blood.

The police shifted his body to morgue for autopsy.

A case has been registered against the unknown persons. (APP)
