LAHORE: World Bank’s consultants in Dubai have completed their advisory to Pakistan Railways, Planning Commission of Pakistan, and Finance Ministry on how to improve the rusting train service, Geo News reported.

The two-day videoconference among the participants in Dubai, Islamabad, and Lahore concluded Friday.

The meeting tracked all the issues that have so far been red-signalling Pakistan Railways and even causing it to run off the rails.

It is hoped that World Bank’s advices will go a long way in helping Pakistan improve its train service if they are paid heed.
