KARACHI: City District Government Karachi, as part of its ongoing anti-encroachment campaign, on Saturday evacuated its 100-acres land near Northern Bypass worth Rs. 500 million.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of EDO Revenue Ghanwar Laghari, EDO Revenue Shaukat Jokhio and Chief CDGK Anti-Encroachment Cell Irfan Bahadur.
The recovered land was earmarked for wholesale markets by Board of Revenue and falls under the jurisdiction of Keamari and Gadap.
CDGK has so far reclaimed 600-acres of land worth billion of rupees in its anti-encroachment campaign. (PPI)
