PML-N candidate wins PP-220: unofficial results

SAHIWAL: PML-N candidate Pir Khizar Hayat Shah Khagga has won the PP-220 by-election, Geo News reported.

According to unofficial results Khagga gained 40,185 votes cast in 160 polling stations which were set up in Sahiwal.

Following Khagga’s victory PML-N workers poured onto the streets and started their celebrations.

Tight security arrangements were in place to ensure that no untoward incident took place during the by-election.
