Australia beat South Africa by 5 wickets in first T20

CAPE TOWN: Australia defeated South Africa by five wickets in the first of two Twenty20 internationals at Newlands on Thursday.

South Africa made 146 for seven before Australia reached their target with three balls to spare.

The second game takes place in Johannesburg on Sunday. (AFP)
