LAHORE: Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah said Friday that the oppositions planned sit-in outside the chief minister house on Saturday was a response to the PML-N protest outside the presidency, Geo News reported.

The provincial law minister while speaking to the media said the PML-N would offer refreshments to those opposition members holding a sit-in outside the chief minister house. Sanaullah added that the PML-N sit-in outside the presidency was against loadshedding and the corrupt practices of President Zardari.

Commenting on the PML-N victory in the Sahiwal by-election, Sanaullah said that this was a "slap" on the faces of the PPP and PML-Q.
