VC BZU vows to hoist varsity standards

MULTAN: Newly-appointed Vice Chancellor Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Prof Dr Khawaja Alqama said he would play his role in promoting education standard in the varsity.

Talking to the media after his arrival at the local airport here on Friday, the vice chancellor said that he would try to develop an ideal atmosphere in BZU through harmony among staffers and students.

To a query about incidents of violence in BZU, he condemned torture incidents and said he would promote education according to the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). (APP)
