LAHORE: PPP and PML-Q MPAs protested against the Punjab government’s failure to tackle the Dengue virus and law and order situation, Geo News reported.

Opposition members marched from the Punjab assembly towards the Chief Minister House where they held a sit-in. The call for the protest and sit-in was given by the PPP parliamentary party and a large number of PML-Q members also participated.

Opposition members were holding placards displaying slogans against the Punjab government and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. During the sit-in, the protestors returned the mineral water sent by the Punjab government.

Speaking to the media, opposition leader Raja Riaz termed Shahbaz Shairf a failure. Riaz criticised the chief minister for failing to take adequate steps to control Dengue.
