Suicide attack kills civilians in Afghanistan: police

KABUL: A suicide car bomb exploded in northern Afghanistan on Monday, killing a number of civilians, police said.

The car detonated at 8:20am (3:50 GMT) in Maymanah in Faryab province and
"a number of civilians were killed and injured, but we don't have the exact figures," said Lal Mohammad, police spokesman for the northern region.
