Two held, sub-standard tea recovered

MULTAN: CIA police have arrested two people and recovered sub-standard tea near Nag Shah Chowk here on Tuesday.

According to Inspector CIA Afzal Qureshi, a factory owned by Ibrar Khan near Nag Shah Chowk was raided. Two workers Mohsin and Israr were arrested while the owner managed to escape.

The CIA police seized 2,000 kilogram of sub-standard tea from the factory. The tea was being prepared by using chemicals, colour and husk of grams, he added.

The Food Inspector had collected samples from the factory.

A case has been registered against the outlaws.
