LAHORE: After the death of a woman from Dengue, the toll has reached 234 in Lahore and 262 in the Punjab province, Geo News reported Friday. The total number of patients has crossed 18,000 in the province.

According to details, 60-year-old Naseem died in Mayo Hospital today. In the past 24 hours, 350 new Dengue cases were confirmed in the province.

While chairing Dengue emergency committee meeting, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said that 311 doctors and nurses have been trained to provide treatment for Dengue. He further said that senior doctors have treated 500 patients in small hospitals.

The CM ordered to set up blood bank for Dengue patients in the province.
