LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the publication of wrong Intermediate-I results on the internet and ordered for investigation, Geo News reported.

Sharif has advised that a judicial inquiry into why these results were published be conducted.

The publication of the results triggered student protests in several cities of the province including Lahore and Gujranwala.

The Punjab government in an effort to quell the protests have stated that students will not be charged paper re-checking fees.
