Rauf submits charges in writing against Dr Mirza

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Industries and Trade Rauf Siddiqui Saturday submitted the charges in writing against Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza for the latter's alleged act of blasphemy against the holy Prophet (PBUH), Geo News reported.

Addressing a press conference at his office in SITE area, Rauf Siddiqui said he was fulfilling all the legal requirements for building a case against Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza.

"If any individual calls Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza a good person or implicitly considers him so, he would also be declared a desecrator of the Prophet (PBUH)," he claimed.

He said if the courts could spend days and nights on a contempt of court, so why not on the desecration of the holy Prophet (PBUH)?

At the conclusion of the press conference, SHO Kalakot Police Station arrived at the office of the Sindh Minister Rauf Siddiqui and collected the statement.
