Two wounded in hand grenade attack

QUETTA: Two personnel of a law enforcement agency have been wounded in a hand grenade attack in Margat coal mine area of on Saturday.

"Unknown armed men hurled hand grenade at a vehicle carrying personnel of a law enforcement agency," police said adding that resultantly, two personnel were injured.

The attackers managed to escape from the scene. The wounded were rushed to hospital for medical aid.

The police and law enforcement personnel rushed to the site and cordoned off the entire area to trace the assailants out.

Further investigation was underway.
