Mother, daughter killed in road mishap

FAISALABAD: A woman and her minor daughter were killed while her son received serious injuries in a road accident, in the area of Chak Jhumra police station.

According to police, Faraz Yaseen (18) resident of Haji Abad, his mother Irshad Bibi (37) and sister Hajira (4) were riding on a motorcycle when they were hit by another motorbike near Bhai Wala Railway Phatak. They fell on the road and a rashly driven tractor trolley coming from rear side crushed them. As a result, Irshad Bibi and Hajira died on the spot while Faraz received critical injuries. The injured was shifted to hospital in precarious condition.

The legal heirs of the victims refused to take any legal action against the tractor trolley driver. The bodies were handed over to the relatives after legal formalities. (APP)
