Rs5 million looted in private bank heist

KARACHI: Four armed persons barged into a private bank looted over rupees five million making the staff hostage in Rizvia Society area here, Geo News reported.

Police said that four armed persons entered into the private bank, taking the guard by surprise unarmed him, took the staff hostage on gunpoint and looted over Rs5 million that they could find in the bank. They also took away the spy camera along with the film, while fleeing from the scene.

Following the incident, police and other investigating agencies reaching the spot started investigations from the staff and the security guard.
