Dengue claims two more lives in Lahore

LAHORE: Two more dengue patients died at Mayo Hospital on Wednesday, raising the death toll to 249 in Lahore and 283 in Punjab.

Hafeez-ur-Rehman, 17, of Shahdbagh and Waseem,13, of Chah Miran were under treatment at Mayo Hospital who could not survive against the dengue fever.

Around 250 new dengue cases were reported in Punjab during last 24 hours, raising the number to 19,200while 137 new cases were reported in Lahore, raising the total number to 16,231. (Geo Urdu)
