KARACHI: A single tola of 24-karat gold in Pakistan was being sold for Rs113,400 on Wednesday, January 13, at the closing of the bullion market.

Likewise, 10 grams of 24k gold was sold for Rs97,222 at the closing of trading.

Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22k gold was traded for Rs89,120, while one tola of 22k gold was traded for Rs103,949.

A day earlier, bullion rates in the local market increased Rs100/tola to Rs113,300/tola, according to the data released by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams gold raised Rs85 to Rs97,136, it added.

In the international market too, bullion rates increased $10 to $1,860/ounce.

Jewellers claimed prices in the local market remained Rs1,000/tola lower, compared with the rates in the Dubai gold market.

However, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs1,300/tola. The price of 10 grams silver also stood the same at Rs1,114.54.
