KARACHI: Sindh government has lifted ban on public rallies and processions in the metropolis for two days, Geo News reported.
According to notification, now the ban will be effective from October 31.
Earlier, Sindh government has extended ban on public rallies and processions in the metropolis for 30 days, while MQM had announced to take out rally against PML-N on Sunday over using unparliamentarily language against President Asif Ali Zardari.
Religious rites, funerals processions and those who have taken special permission from the Home Department are exempted from this ban.
The Home Department had imposed ban on rallies and processions on September 28.
