Man in Afghan army uniform kills two foreign troops: NATO

KABUL: A man dressed in Afghan army uniform shot dead two foreign troops in the volatile south of Afghanistan on Saturday, NATO said.

"Two International Security Assistance Force service members were killed today in southern Afghanistan when an individual wearing an Afghan National Army uniform apparently turned his weapon on Afghan and coalition forces," the alliance force said in a statement.

It said the shooter was also killed in the incident but gave no further details.

The announcement came as a suicide car bomber in the capital Kabul struck a
US-run NATO bus travelling through the southwest of the city, killing at least
14 people, mostly foreign forces.
