Wanted killers, nine outlaws arrested

ISLAMABAD: Police on Saturday apprehended two persons wanted to police in various murder cases and also nabbed nine other outlaws from various areas of the city besides recovering hashish and wine from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, Akhtar Nawaz resident of Bari Imam Mohallah Nori Bagh was shot dead by Manzoor over a monetary dispute on October 10. After this incident, the culprit managed to escape and police team under the supervision of SHO Secretariat police station started the investigation.

Police team succeeded to arrest the killer and recovered murder toll (30 bore pistol) and mobile as well watch of the deceased from his possession.

Meanwhile, Koral police apprehended another killer who murdered Rozi Khan, owner of Bismillah hotel in Khana area.

He was shot dead when he asked three suspected persons as why they had been sitting in the area. This annoyed these persons and they shot him dead over the spot.

A special team headed by SHO Koral police station and others managed to arrest two persons Rooh Ullah and Amin Qaisar while their third accomplice Nisar Ahmed has been also arrested after hectic efforts by police team.

Aabpara police station nabbed Babar Masish during routine patrolling from sector G-7/3-2 and recovered 50 liquor bottles from their possession.

CIA police nabbed three thieves namely Asar Ali, Ejaz Ahmed, Saif Akram and recovered looted items from their possession while ASI Muhammad Raees also arrested a thief identified as Maavia besides recovering stolen items from his possession.

Sabzi Manid police nabbed a drug pusher identified as Akbar and recovered 1.150 kilogram hashish while Shehzad town police arrested Asser Alam for having 32 bore pistol.

Nilore police arrested two persons including Kamran and Naseer Ehsan besides recovering stolen motorbike and other valuables from them.

Women police arrested a woman Hamida Bibi from sector F-10 while Golra police also arrested two court absconders. (APP)
