LAHORE: Khawaja Haris who was serving as the Advocate General of Punjab (AGP) has resigned from the post, Geo News reported Wednesday. He was assigned the AGP post in the current PML-N government.

According to sources, Haris had reservations regarding some appointments in the Advocate General office due to which he has resigned.

He was receiving higher remuneration and benefits than many judicial officials. Earlier, he had also returned the police guard deputed on his security.

This is the third time that Khawaja Haris has resigned from his post.
