Cash, jewellery looted in separate incidents

MULTAN: Robbers made off with cash, gold ornaments and cell phones in two separate incidents here on Wednesday.

According to police, two robbers stormed into the house of Akbar resident of Chungi No 14, in the limits of Shah Shamas police station and made hostage the family at gunpoint. The intruders looted cash, eight tola of gold ornaments and a cell phone from the house and fled away.

In another incident, six dacoits looted Rs 25,000, gold and silver ornaments, four cell phones from the house of a WAPDA employee Abdul Rasheed resident of New Multan.

Police have registered separate cases and started investigation.
