HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) organized a ceremony at its head office on Friday to handover the job offers to the children of Shaheed employees.

On the occasion, 19 persons were given the appointment letters for job including 8 assistant line men, 3 LDCs, 1 assistant sub station attendant, 1 bill distributor, 1 watchman, 1, messenger, 1 store helper, and 3 sanitary workers.

While addressing the ceremony, CEO of HESCO Muzaffar Ali Abbassi congratulated the children of the shaheed employees for obtaining the jobs saying the jobs were the Eid gift for them.

"We owed these jobs to your deceased parents," He said advising them to fulfill their duties with responsibility as to uphold the name of their fathers.

President Pakistan WAPDA Hydro Labour Union Abdul Latif Nizamani thanked the CEO for giving jobs to the children of those workers who died in the line of duty.

Nizamani also thanked the officers of HESCO who were instrumental in the process of giving employment.

Chief Engineer Technical Laiq Ahmed Khan, Director HR and Admin Muhammad Bachal Laghari, Manager HRM Ali Anwar Jokhio and other officials of HESCO, families of the deceased employees and the new employees attended the ceremony. (APP)
