Free hepatitis medical camp

HYDERABAD: The Vice-Chancellor of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan Rajput, and Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr.Mohammad Aslam Azeemi, inaugurated a two day free Hepatitis medical camp here on Friday to vaccinate the university employees and students against hepatitis-B.

He said at the inauguration ceremony that the university would conduct free of charge medical tests and provide treatment against
hepatitis-B to all its employees, their families and students.

Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan also stressed that aggressive measures must be taken for prevention of hepatitis and creating awareness regarding the vital role of liver transplantation. (APP)
